Life of baba Lokenath

A very good read that I finished and wanted to share : the life of Baba Lokenath, a very important saint of the nineteen century.
Some most interesting links with AY, since he was a very close friend of Trailanga Swami. The 2 saints traveled the world together, and are said to have reached Europe.
Very insipring reading, although Baba Lokenath lived only 160 years, very little compared to the 300 years of Trailanga Swami :-). It brings us back to the times of Lahiri Mahasaya and saints that he has known.

As a complement also, you can read a book about Trailanga Swami :
https://www.amazon.fr/Trailanga-Shan...ords=trailanga

Nice and interesting, as everything linked to our Gurus, but little new information about T Swami. Some good stuff about his disciples, especially Shankari Mataji that Master met in 1936 (when she was 112 years Dave )

In western countries the actuarial science has quantified exactly expected lifespan at birth and EL at any age. There are some online calculators as well.

In America about 50% of males reach 80 years of age (expectancy at birth), the older you are the more such number increases. In the UK it' smaybe about the same.

So, rigorously, it's not most people, rather 50% of people reach their 80s or die before their 80s.

Of course, life expectancy is different from healthy life expectancy, about 7 years less for the latter.
